He is Professor of the Practice ofRhetoric and Oratory at Middlebury College and lectures frequently on argumentand persuasion, speaking to audiences ranging from Ivy League business studentsto NASA scientists to Southwest Airlines executives. He lives near Middlebury,Vermont.
